Found this on my Facebook a few weeks ago. Needless to say, I’m not this person’s ‘friend’ anymore.

“I’m blocking you if you are for all these ‘slut walks’ and ‘anti-slut-bashing’ crap. Why are you adamant about changing people’s opinions about sluts? As a slut, you can get a job. You can you can drive. You can vote. You can own property. You can get married. You have all the same rights as any other human being. So you’re protesting solely to say that other people’s opinions are wrong. You look so stupid, because you are not getting anything done. You should maybe just accept that other people have other opinions about you and your slutty friends. Ya know, cuz, their opinion literally has no factors in your day to day life. ‘BUT IT HURTS MY FEELINGSSS’ learn to deal with it, or stop being a slut. And don’t you dare start telling me that ‘being a slut isn’t a choice, it’s how you’re born.’ It’s like crying because people make fun of you for how you choose to dress at school; learn to deal with it, or stop doing it. No one has any obligation what-so-ever to care about your feelings. If they think that your attire is causing you to get raped, or that your promiscuity has any connection to being raped, why don’t you just…keep your shirt on and stop caring about their opinion….after all, you guys are the ones who are so blatantly indifferent on what others think of you. You’re not a part of some big social revolution, you are trying to get people to respect you without you having to work for it. No one has to accept you for who you are. Feminism is at an irredeemable low. I wish I could apologize to all the wonderful women and feminists who worked so hard to get us where we are today for all of you lazy, incompetent, classless girls.”

So remember, feminists, when women face misogynistic treatment and double standards everyday and rape victims are blamed instead of seeing justice, it’s no big deal because it’s not like it effects their lives or anything.

Because all women that make our own decisions about our own bodies suddenly have to work harder for the respect of others than anybody else, since we’re just sluts. How dare we expect respect and equal treatment from anybody.
